For the past five years, I dedicated myself wholeheartedly to my work. It was there that I met my wife and built lasting relationships. Yet, as expected, an end eventually came. About two years ago, my salary started to be delayed bit by bit, and receiving it on time became rare. For someone like me, who was planning a wedding, the unstable income became a heavy burden. Since we both worked at the same company, a delay in pay meant significant obstacles in our lives.
Ultimately, we decided to leave the company before our wedding. However, the company painted us as irresponsible, and even some trusted acquaintances who had ties with the company distanced themselves from us. Facing such a situation a month before our wedding brought us frustration and regret.
But holding onto negative emotions felt like carrying fire within ourselves; it only left burns on our hearts. So, for the sake of our mental health, we chose to focus on the positives. “This company led me to meet the person I love the most.” “Now we have time to rest. We’ve worked so hard, so let’s take this opportunity to recharge.” “We can even take a longer honeymoon—how great is that!” These thoughts brought peace to our minds. In the end, we had a beautiful wedding and enjoyed our honeymoon to the fullest, leaving no room for negative feelings about our unpaid wages.
Reflecting on our experiences, we realized how much we both loved traveling together. Exploring new places, tasting delicious food, and savoring wine or beer were things we genuinely enjoyed. Through our travels—spanning nine countries and 23 cities—we gained a broader perspective and inner peace. Travel gave us more than just enjoyment; it brought us profound experiences.
We believe that a successful journey starts with finding good information. We often found it challenging to get details about small, lesser-known towns, which sometimes left us with regrets that we couldn’t fully appreciate those places. While exploring on our own was fun, we wished we could’ve known more beforehand.
Based on this experience, we decided to start this blog to share our knowledge about diverse cities and hidden spots with fellow travelers who, like us, are in search of valuable information. While taking a break from work, we wanted to reconnect with ourselves and embark on travels we love. By exploring, we hope to share insights about its beautiful locations and festivals. With a commitment to be a reliable source of information, we proudly publish this first post.
